Muscle Buddy has four trainer algorithms you can use when building your workout.

  • Classic: A good old fashioned trainer for an orderly workout consisting of sets, supersets, or circuits.

  • Instinctual: Want to just do an exercise because you feel like it. Use this trainer to select an exercise from your targeted muscle group.

  • Timed Workout with Timed Sets and Auto Advance: Don’t let the name scare you. This is for making workouts like the classic 8 min abs© or tabata workouts.

  • Timed Random Muscle Confusion: Do you want to confuse your muscles but want to have a theme? Setup a workout here and this trainer will generate a random set for you on demand.
